Our CEO Nicole is heading to the 2017 NSW Telstra Business Women's Awards among some stiff competition.
Advoc8's CEO & Founder is heading to the 2017 NSW Telstra Business Women's Awards this Friday 28 October, having been announced as a Finalist in the Young Business Women's category.
Having worked in and around politics for almost a decade, Nicole realised that despite the significant disruption that was happening in other industries, the public policy and advocacy sector was being left behind.
This was the catalyst for Nicole to launch Advoc8, Australia's first and only political engagement platform that empowers professionals across business and nonprofits to better engage with government.
''It's an absolute honour to have been selected as a NSW finalist in the Telstra Women's Business Awards in the Young Business Women's category,' Nicole said.
''This recognition not only validates Advoc8, but a completely new way of engaging with government and political processes,' she said.
''By making the tools and information needed to engage with decision-makers more accessible, more voices can enter the public policy debate. My goal is to encourage a greater diversity of views being heard, encouraging a more inclusive society as a result,' Nicole said.
As the CEO and Founding Director, Nicole leads the company's day-to-day operations and business strategy.
Over the last six months, she has tripled the customer base and tripled revenue. In the same period, Advoc8 was announced the best digital B2B innovation at the NSW iAwards, and Winner of the Academy Xi Pitch X pitching competition.
''With the support of organisations like the Telstra Business Women's Awards, we can get the message out there to more organisations out there and help them get their voices heard,' Nicole Buskiewicz said.
The prestigious business awards, now in their 23rd year, recognise outstanding Australian women in business.
